Le 12 juillet 2019, Issartel a eu l’honneur d’être convié à Cherbourg pour la Cérémonie de lancement du sous-marin « Suffren », premier sous-marin nucléaire d’attaque (SNA) de la Classe Barracuda produit par Naval Group et dont 5 autres unités seront livrées d’ici 2029. Les sous-marins de type Barracuda sont équipés d’une propulsion nucléaire ainsi que de torpilles et mesurent 99 mètres de long pour 4 650 tonnes en surface.
